Several projects based on AssCreed in the works at streaming giant
Now there’s going to be an Assassin’s Creed series on Netflix, the company has revealed.
The live action show will include Ubisoft’s Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik, who will serve as Executive Producers. The Hollywood Reporter also notes that the series will be a part of a broader project that will tie in to the Assassin’s Creed IP, and feature other shows, anime and more. With the idea that the Animus can send characters anywhere, it certainly lends to an interesting Animatrix type of concept for the shows.
The upcoming (no timeline) show joins the growing Netflix stable of gaming IP, including Beyond Good & Evil, Splinter Cell, multiple Resident Evil projects, The Witcher and its prequel, the recent Dragon’s Dogma and Castlevania series, Cuphead, and all of the Pokemon shows.
