Nerial, creators of card-based Reigns, have announced Card Shark during today’s Indieworld Direct. The game puts players in 1700’s Europe as card tricksters who must work their way up to the top of the poker world using stealth, manipulation, and sneaky tricks with cards. The art aesthetic is indicative of the century’s flat, 2D political cartoon style that became popular around the world.

Card Shark is published by Devolver Digital and arrives next year.
