Bethesda’s next game will miss PS5 launch
Deathloop, the stylish Bethesda spy vs spy exclusive that is primed for a 2020 PlayStation 5 launch, no longer will be. Arkane Lyon, the game’s developers, announced that it will delay the launch until Q2 2021.
Citing the ongoing COVID pandemic and its effect on development timing and the health and safety of the studio’s staff, publisher Bethesda now puts the game out of the PS5’s current 2020 launch window and into the April-June 2021 timeframe. With that, the launch exclusives for the new consoles seem to be dwindling, as Microsoft lost Halo Infinite to a delay last week.
