Mario even moves on screen
Nintendo has taken the wraps off of our next brick obsession, fully revealing the LEGO NES console that was teased yesterday. The set features over 2600 bricks, has a working “door” on the front of the console to insert and close the cartridge, and even a crank on the side of the TV set to make the on-screen Mario actually move, as the screen rotates around a couple of pivots inside.
Oh, and plop the LEGO Mario on top and the familiar Super Mario Bros music plays as the crank is turned.
The set is available August 1st for $199.99 on LEGO’s website.
UPDATE: LEGO has updated the price to $229.99
