I would pay any amount for this LEGO set
LEGO is teasing an announcement of another Nintendo-themed product. This one will likely be the heftiest based on the game-maker yet.
While LEGO hasn’t done more than the tweet above, website website VJGamer revealed a few tidbits from a leaked pamphlet, notably that the packaged would include a brick NES, cartridge, controller and TV set.
The 2646 piece set will have some sort of action on screen, via a turnable crank on the side. By plopping the earlier revealed LEGO Mario on top, audio will become a part of the experience as well.
It’s an intriguing set idea, especially since Nintendo is allowing LEGO to be considerably creative with the IP. German website PromoBricks.DE says that the price is listed at 229.99€ and will be available on August 1 alongside the rest of the Mario set.
We’ll likely get an announcement soon, based on the official LEGO tease this morning.
