The digital painting app for Switch still planned for this Summer
Colors Live, the upcoming digital painting and community app for the Nintendo Switch, is now available for preorder. The app successfully funded with over $250k on Kickstarter over the last few months. The software allows artists of any level of experience to sketch, draw, and learn using the console’s touch screen and a unique “sonar pen” that utilizes sound waves outputted from the Switch’s headphone jack to create pressure sensitivity.
The preorders are available in two flavors: $39.99 provides the app, a pen, and a special preorder badge for the community, while the $62.99 tier lets users choose the color of their pen cord, invites them to the PC-based beta, 2 gallery super-likes, access to developer forums, and a carrying pouch.
Colors Live is scheduled for release this year.
