The planet’s still little
Little Big Planet was one of the franchises that really showed off the power of the PS3 generation. It blended incredible creativity, allowing players to create situations, then levels, then full games. It eventually led to Dreams, which is providing a creative outlet on the PS4 years later. But that initial magic is still around, and now Sumo Digital is trying to capitalize on it by taking the series into a more traditional direction.
While Sackboy: A Big Adventure still carries that hand-crafted aesthetic of the series, this game looks to be more of a 3D action platformer using the once PlayStation mascot as its hero. The series’ costume changes look to be involved, as Sackboy can change his appearance to suit his needs.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure doesn’t have a release date yet.
