The largest gaming events get online and get bigger
PAX, that fantastic, fan-focused video and board game convention, has been holding out hope for a physical show in Seattle in August. But, with the obvious COVID-19 pandemic not wanting to go away any time soon, it’s best to not push their luck. And so, the organizers at ReedPOP and Penny Arcade will instead shift their next two shows online — as one big gaming fest.
PAX Online will take place from September 12-20, for a full 9 days of 24 hour gaming goodness. This will include panels, game debuts, esports tournaments, music, virtual booths, and more. There will even be PAX Online Merch. MERCH!
PAX and all of its shows have been SideQuesting’s favorite events to attend, and where we’ve been able to make some pretty fantastic connections. PAX Online is going to be free for everyone to virtually “attend” and you can rest assured that we’ll be there.
