New video shows us who we’ll meet on the journey through the paper Mushroom Kingdom
Just last month, Nintendo revealed that its next big game to arrive would be Paper Mario: The Origami King. The debut trailer teased a new combat system, enemies and companions, and now Nintendo gives us a full drop of info on these.
The combat’s new ring-based battles will require Mario to line up enemies for added attack power, with the cheering audience of Toads and different allies helping out as needed. Though Olivia will be the main teammate, players can expect help from others like Bowser and Olivia’s father, King Olly.
The combat will take place against the new Legion of Stationary, as Mario battles office supplies (?!) that have evil intentions.
Exploration and secrets will again be a part of the game, as hidden items, holes in the landscape and mini-games can be found everywhere for new items and sidequesting time.
Paper Mario: The Origami King arrives July 17, 2020 for the Nintendo Switch.
