Destiny 2: Beyond Light takes the game to Europa, and introduces new era

During a special pre-recorded presentation today, Bungie took the wraps off of the next giant update to Destiny 2, Beyond Light. The new expansion is the beginning of a bold new era of the series, but we’ll get to that soon.

Beyond Light puts the Guardians up against new foe Eramis, and adds a new element. Stasis is a big, new power to go alongside solar, arc & void, and the battle will go to Europa.

The game is also coming to next gen platforms with free upgrades, and without buying the same expansions again — unless you shift out of the platform family. That basically means that if you buy on Xbox, you need to stick to Xbox, instead of your content all carrying over to PS5 later.
