Merge Games brings the classic back to life
Alex Kidd, SEGA & Yuji Naka’s classic game series, is getting a remake. Merge Games have announced Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX during IGN’s Summer of Gaming, bringing the classic platform adventure to modern gamers.
The game has been completely re-created, featuring the option to switch between classic 8-bit and modern HD visuals. There are new levels, new modes (including a Boss Rush) and more.
There’s no platforms listed, but the game is up on Steam with a tentative release date of Q1 2021.
