Adaptive world could lead to more immersion
Gamedec, the new project from Anshar Studios, looks to capture some of the aesthetic and feel of classic PC RPGs, but adds several new layers on top of it.
The cyberpunk stylings immediately pique our interest, but it could be the complexity of the ever-changing world that actually keeps us involved. The game is non-combat, and focuses on our powers of interaction and deduction to solve problems and escape situations. In fact, the devs note details of how it mimics playing a tabletop RPG more than an actual video game one.
Gamedec has a lot of interesting other tidbits, including deep customization, and more that will be revealed as backers help beef up the stretch goals on Kickstarter, where the game is being currently posted.
