Platform action adventure coming to several platforms
In what can only be considered a triumph for humanity, PlatinumGames is bringing the delectable Wonderful 101 back into our lives. Announced via a special initiative the company is calling Platinum4, in which four projects/updates/THINGS will be revealed, the game is slated to make its way through Kickstarter, with a $50k goal to hit the Nintendo Switch.
Surprise! It already hit that goal in about the blink of an eye. Stretch goals for PC Steam and PS4 were also revealed and SURPRISE those goals were subsequently hit as well. The campaign currently stands at nearly $700k, with free DLC and other stretch goals. Backers can get the game digitally, physically, and with a slew of other options — even getting blocked on twitter by the game’s Director Hideki Kamiya himself.
The campaign starts today, February 3, and runs into March for 31 days.
Though there’s no launch date yet for the game now that it’s hit its initial goal, the dev team is hoping that it actually wouldn’t be too long to get it into hands of backers.
