So THAT’S where Resident Evil 3 was going to be announced.

Sony has announced that a State of Play event will take place just two days before The Game Awards 2019 next week. Sony’s Nintendo Direct style efforts have usually yielded some interesting tidbits here and there, but this final one of 2019 may push a bit more information out to us.

For one, Sony has announced that there will be “new game reveals” and “release date announcements” for some of their projects, but since Last of Us Part 2 has already been pushed back, could this finally mean an update for Ghost of Tsushima is coming?

We’ll find out soon enough. The stream takes place on Tuesday, December 10 at 9AM ET/6AM PT.
