Twelve games will launch on the 19th
Google Stadia has a lot of press and hype around it, but will only have a handful at launch. The majority of the games are a year old or more. That’s a far cry from the hundreds that are launching each month for the other major players like Sony, Xbox and even Apple’s Arcade. It’s odd that we’re only just now finding about what those games are, with the preorders having been available for a while now.
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Destiny 2: The Collection
- Gult
- Just Dance 2020
- Kine
- Mortal Kombat 11
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Rise of the Tomb Raider
- Samurai Shodown
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
- Thumper
- Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
Interested buyers were allowed to pre-order Stadia (which consisted of the controller and a Chromecast Ultra), but according to recent reports there’s a chance that not all of those will arrive on launch day. Google did say that more games will be available by the end of the year. They are:
- Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle
- Borderlands 3
- Darksiders: Genesis
- Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
- Farming Simulator 19
- Final Fantasy XV
- Football Manager 2020
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint
- Grid
- Metro: Exodus
- NBA 2K20
- Rage 2
- Trials Rising
- Wolfenstein: Youngblood
Google Stadia launches on November 19.
