The future is just a little further away now
Developer Naughty Dog has revealed that The Last of Us Part II, its next giant game, will have its launch delayed. The original February 21, 2020 release date — which was revealed during an equally huge press preview event and which you can reminisce about in the trailer above — didn’t last a full month before the date was changed.
The new release date for Ellie’s post-apocalyptic adventure is May 29, 2020.
This confirmation comes after a report on Kotaku about the possible delay. Naughty Dog cites further need to polish and get the game up to the levels they desire for quality.
