The giant game keeps getting gianter
Pokémon Sword & Shield weren’t lacking for content, at least from what we’ve been seeing over the past year of information dumps. Today’s Nintendo Direct revealed that even more was being packed into the games.
Players will now be able to customize their character, from clothing to hair styles to gloves to makeup. Want a snazzy, stylish set of shirt and shorts? It’s yours now!
Pokémon Camp will be a new area where players can go to play with their little monsters, have them interact with others, and even meet up with friends online.
Cooking is coming to the games in a big way… if you like curry on rice. Sword & Shield will let players cook over 100 types of the meal to serve their pocket monsters, based on ingredients and recipes they find along the way.
Finally, two new Pokémon were revealed: the bird-like Cramorant and the ghostly Polteageist, the latter of which likes to inhabit cookware.
Pokémon Sword & Shield arrive November 15 on the Nintendo Switch.
