Bungie has announced that the latest expansion for Destiny 2, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, along with the upcoming free-to-play version, New Light, will be missing the originally scheduled release date of September 17, and will instead be pushed back a bit to October 1.
In an post on it’s official blog, the developer said that “Being independent means that the future of Destiny 2 is entirely on our team… It also means that we’re agile enough to choose to do what’s best for the game and our players.”
Cross save support, a long-requested feature that was announced alongside Destiny 2: Shadowkeep in June, is said to still be scheduled for this summer.
