A big whoops for a big RPG
The original Ni No Kuni is still a fantastic JRPG, developing a big following on the PS3 and 3DS (in Japan). It was popular enough that it spawned a giant sequel on the PS4, to good reviews and customer sales.
Bandai Namco believes that the original still has some life left in it, and so it’s decided to bring the game back for a second turn. It has revealed (unintentionally) that the game will be getting a remaster for the PS4 and PC, and a port for the Switch.
Apart from “improved graphics and performance” for the PS4 and PC, the only notable addition is that the game will be coming to Nintendo’s Switch for on-the-go play.
Other than that, it looks like Fall 2019 is the intended release date.
