First wave of fighters bring hell to MK

Mortal Kombat XI‘s first Kombat Pack has revealed the first batch of fighters coming to the game as DLC. Shang Tsung leads the pack, but NightWolf and Sindel make a return, as well as comic book character Spawn.

One interesting note is that the in-game Tsung is voiced and image-captured by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the actor who played the character in 1995’s Mortal Kombat movie. Meanwhile, this is Spawn’s second fighting game appearance, previously popping up waaaay back in Soulcalibur II. There are still two more characters to be revealed in this first wave of the Season Pass/Kombat Pack, but fans will have to wait and enjoy Shang Tsung first when he drops in June.
