Bringing the roaring Twenties back into fashion
John Romero, one of the original creators of DOOM, is back with a new game. And though it doesn’t have literal demons, it may have figurative ones in the form of crime and evil.

Empire of Sin takes place in 1920s Chicago during Prohibition, when gangsters and mobsters and other -sters ruled the crime world. The game will be character driven and strategy based (this is a Paradox game after all), tasking players with building their kingdom in the underbelly of crime.

Players will take control of one of 14 different crime bosses as they interact with other kingpins and characters, whether through diplomacy or with a bit more aggressive methods. There will even be turn-based combat when the need arises to put fists into stomachs and tommy guns into faces.

Empire of Sin arrives on PS4, Switch, Xbox One and PC in Spring 2020.
