Back to the black top
Volta.
That’s the name that EA is using for the street sports mode in FIFA 20. The new-ish mode will bring the spirit of FIFA Street to the main game, but with a slew of new ideas and additions.
The game will include a story mode, leagues and relegation. Teams can range from 3-5 players on a side, and goalkeepers can be optional — in case you want to go absolutely scoring crazy.
The play areas (arenas? blacktops?) can be of varying sizes, with some including walls to bounce the balls off.
Players will be able to customize their characters, with Volta bringing female and male characters together, hairstyles and body types, tattoos and more.
And also: FUTSAL is here.
FIFA 20 launches worldwide for PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 27 (September 24 with preorder of Ultimate Edition). FIFA 20 Legacy Edition will launch for Nintendo’s Switch as well.
