Switch is at the center focus
Nintendo has revealed its plans for E3 2019, outlining a full weekend and week of events and live-streams.
To kick things off, the company will once again host its Splatoon 2 and Super Smash Bros championships during the week. Starting at 11 AM PT / 2PM ET on Saturday, June 8, the Splatoon 2 World Championships will take place love at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in LA. Then, around 2PM at the conclusion of that tourney, the company will host its Super Smash Bros Ultimate 3v3 world championship tournament.
On June 11 at 9AM, it will have a Switch-focused Nintendo Direct. The company’s now annual E3 digital presentation is in its 6th year, and the company plans on showing off the 2019 games it’s announced so far, as well as the possibility for a few more surprises.
Immediately following the Direct, the publisher will kick off its Treehouse Live streams over the next 3 days as E3 persists.
To avoid the chaos and long waits, fans in attendance will be able to register time slots to play its newest games via Warp Pipe Pass if they have My Nintendo Accounts.
