Mushroom Kingdoms and Hyrules in three dees
In a surprise move, Nintendo has announced that VR modes will be coming to Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, bot for the Switch. The modes will be delivered via updates to the two games on April 25, and be accessible via Nintendo’s LABO do-it-yourself cardboard kits.
In Odyssey, the LABO VR mode will deliver a new set of missions that revolve around Mario collecting music notes in three areas, Cap, Luncheon Kingdom and Seaside.
In BOTW, the game will become fully playable in VR, and can be switched back and forth between modes at ease.
The Nintendo LABO VR Kit arrives next week, April 12.
