The next evolution of the popular RPG arrives this year.

Atlus has finally given us more details about the mysterious P5R. The game will be coming to PlayStation 4 (and PS4 Pro) in 2019 in Japan, and in 2020 in the West.

The game will focus on new characters, including new Phantom Thief Kasumi Yoshizawa, new dangers, new locations and the third semester of the academy. It seems to be a greatly expanded version of the original Persona 5 game, instead of a full sequel.

Persona 5: The Royal arrives on October 31 (Halloween!) in Japan, and 2020 in the US.
