During its Nintendo Direct yesterday, the console maker revealed that Dragon Quest XI S will be arriving this fall to the Switch.
The game will be more than just a direct port of the PS4 game, however. DQXIS will now include a bunch of added features. First, the 16 Bit mode from the 3DS version will allow players to see the game in an entirely new way. The game will also bring orchestrated music and full English and Japanese voice talent, and the ability to mess with the battle speed. And, if that’s not enough, it’ll have entirely new story quests based on the individual characters.
That might be a good enough chunk of content for fans who played it on PS4 or PC to come over to the Switch for, but only time will tell if any of that makes it to the OG versions.
