The mobile Gear.Club series returns to Switch with Gear.Club Unlimited 2, and a whole slew of new features with it.
The racing game seems to be learning from its Forza, Gran Turismo and Assetto friends by incorporating more realism, race surfaces and online features. At the top of that list is the actual CLUB mode, which lets players hop online and recruit others to build notoriety and win races in leagues. The feature launches first with asynchronous play, but concurrent online multiplayer will arrive later (local multiplayer will be available from the start).
Players might initially stick to the single player campaign, which sees them work to build a collection of cars and restore their family’s name to glory. The game features 50 real world vehicles, with access to tracks and raceways on a variety of terrain and road.
Gear.Club Unlimited 2 drops this week on Switch.
