Last week saw the announcements of Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD and Crystal Chronicles HD announced for consoles, but SquareEnix had more up its sleeve.
During this week’s Nintendo Direct, the company revealed several more games in the series were coming to consoles, including a plethora to Nintendo’s Switch. In total, nine games were revealed, including the aforementioned two.

It’s worth noting that Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon is a a port of the original DS game, and World of Final Fantasy Maxima is an upgraded version of the game that launched two years ago on the PlayStation 4. This year (2018) will bring Chocobo, FFXV Pocket and World of Final Fantasy, while the rest arrive in 2019.
