The publisher announced during its Tokyo Game Show 2018 stream that the game is still on the way, with work being done. Changes *are* planned, however, as the game will be more than just a PS4 port. It carries a special “S” addition to the title, signifying “Special,” “Switch,” “Shaberu” (which roughly translates to “spoken”), and “Seiyuu” (a voice actor).
Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S for the Nintendo Switch doesn’t have a release time frame yet.
