Starlink: Battle For Atlas was announced last year at Ubisoft’s E3 conference. After that, the toys-to-life spaceship battling game went virtually radio silent. However, at this years Ubisoft conference Starlink made it’s triumphant return.
After showing a trailer for the game (found bellow) and announcing a release date, a surprise for Nintendo fans was shown. Nintendo’s ace pilot, Star Fox and his Arwing spaceship, would be joining in on the fun exclusively on the Switch version of the game. Shigeru Miyamoto was in attendance at the event and was given a prototype of the Arwing for the game.
Starlink: Battle For AtlasĀ will be available October 16th. The starter packs for the game include the game, one starship, one pilot, 3 weapons, a controller mount for your custom ship, and a poster. The Nintendo Switch version of the starter kit comes with the game, the Arwing starship, 2 pilots, 2 weapons, a controller mount, and a free poster. Although post launch support hasn’t been talked about, it seems a handful of different pilots, starships and weapons will be available at launch.
