E3 2018: Crea-Ture Studios to bring nostalgic skateboarding to Xbox and PC with Session

It’s no secret that people have been clamoring for a new Skate game for years, but EA seems unwilling to develop a new one. Crea-Ture Studios is looking to fill that void with Session, a game inspired by the golden days of skateboarding.

Not much was revealed about the game, other then a short trailer showing off some gameplay. Session was successfully funded on Kickstarter back in 2017, but it’s unclear how much the scope of the project has changed since then. What we do know is that Session is more focused on players expressing their creativity through skateboarding, then completing challenges or missions. As of now, the game features no goals and no scoring system, meaning that players will create their own goals and new reasons to push themselves to be better at the game. Microsoft is hoping that skateboarding fans are interested enough to check it out, and maybe even give some feedback to help shape the game. Session will be a part of the Xbox One Game Preview program and in early access on PC by the end of 2018.
