Revealed at EA’s press conference to kick off E3, the popular mode is coming to the next Battlefield game.
Fortnite and PUBG‘s influence is sending ripples across the games industry. The first (proper) reveal of E3 2018 focused on Battlefield V at EA’s press event on Saturday, and the news was obvious: battle royale is coming to the game. And it’ll just be called “Royale.”
It will include vehicles, players, weapons and more from a Battlefield spin, whatever that means. More information will be dropping later this year.
Battlefield V arrives in October. The Royale mode will be added in post-launch.
