The Pokémon Company revealed a second game for the Switch today, and it launches… TODAY.
Pokémon Quest is a Free-to-Start game that takes place in a cube-like world. Players are tasked with eradicating the world of Pokexels, evil creatures that are trying their darnedest to make things hard on the pocket monsters that live there. Players send out teams of three Pokemon to explore Tumblecube Island in search of loot. Along the way they’ll take on enemies (in player-controlled battles), gain levels and equip Power Stones to increase skills.
Once back from expeditions, treasure picked up can be used to attract more Pokemon to the camp, and decorate or upgrade it. The game can be controlled with Joy Cons or touch screen.
Pokémon Quest is available now on Switch, and will release on mobile platforms later this Summer.
