During a surprise Nintendo Direct this morning, Nintendo announced that a definitive “Final Remix” of SquareEnix’s cult DS classic The World Ends With You will be arriving this year to the hybrid console.
The game will bring HD visuals, a new epilogue, Joy-Con “rhythmic battles” and touch screen controls. No firm date was given apart from 2018.
TWEWY was a hit for SquareEnix on the DS when it launched in 2008, with a phone version releasing in the last few years.
