Capcom sure loves their gaming compilations. After revealing the Mega Man X Collection last week, the company is back with one for another of its big brands: Street Fighter.
The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will bring together 12 “arcade perfect” games in one package, along with galleries, music and an interactive timeline. The included games are:
- Street Fighter
- Street Fighter II
- Street Fighter II: Champion Edition
- Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting
- Super Street Fighter II
- Super Street Fighter II: Turbo
- Street Fighter Alpha
- Street Fighter Alpha 2
- Street Fighter Alpha 3
- Street Fighter III
- Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact
- Street Fighter III: Third Strike
Though local multiplayer will be included at the get-go, four of the titles will be playable online as well: Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter III: Third Strike.
This year saw the release of the second Mega Man collection (coming soon to Switch), a classic Disney game collection and Ultra Street Fighter II, a sort of “final” version of the classic fighting game, as well as Super Street Fighter II: Turbo on the Super NES Classic. WHEW! If you’re in the mood for more classic gaming, it looks like Capcom is willing to dish it out. The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection arrives in May 2018 for Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
