During a special presentation last night, Capcom has announced a new entry in the Mega Man series.
Mega Man 11 brings the blue bomber back to his roots in a sidescrolling, robot boss beating, weapon collecting effort unlike his classic adventures.
The new twist is the 2.5D art style, featuring a mix of hand drawn and polygonal art. It’s a departure from the previous two entries, 9 & 10, which went back to the old school NES 8-Bit designs for their presentation.
The game will arrive sometime in Late 2018 to the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Capcom also announced that the previous Mega Man Legacy Collections 1 & 2 will finally make their way to Nintendo’s Switch in 2018 along with amiibo support. Finally, the company will bringing a Mega Man X collection to the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch in 2018 as well.
