When it comes to charity and giving, the gaming community is a fantastic place. Hundreds of thousands of dollars (possibly millions when you include tournaments and events) are donated for the sheer good of it, hoping to better the lives of others. There are so many charities that our heads can spin trying to figure out which one to donate to next.
That’s where One Gamer Fund comes in.
OGF brings together 7 charity organizations to raise funds and awareness, and to do it easily. Much like other larger organizations, OGF will let fans donate and spread around their giving much easier than ever before. Currently the fund unites AbleGamers, Child’s Play, Games for Change, Global Game Jam, IGDA Foundation, Stack-Up and Take This under its umbrella. To donate, players are encouraged to donate directly through PayPal, purchase a specific bundle on Steam, or buy a t-shirt from Yetee.
At this point, it really can’t get any easier.
