In a surprise move, Microsoft has announced that Minecraft will soon allow cross-platform play between the Xbox One, PC, mobile, VR and — wait for it — Nintendo Switch. Yes, you read that right. Xbox One X players will be able to tag along with Nintendo Switch owners in world building and adventuring.
The “Better Together” update news was announced during a section of Microsoft’s Xbox Briefing at E3 that detailed in-game servers and a Super Duper Graphics Pack for 4K visuals.
PlayStation is not currently a part of the Better Together update.
