Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed into Spring 2018, according to Rockstar Games.
Announced today on the company’s blog, the highly anticipated sequel to the Old West version of Grand Theft Auto, the game is being held back for additional shine. With the previous game appearing on last gen consoles, and a port of GTA V popping up two years ago, this is the first Rockstar game developed solely for the current era of PS4 and Xbox One.
More information is due to be released “this summer,” with hopefully something related to PS4 Pro and Xbox One Scorpio versions.
At least there will be a little more breathing room now for Destiny 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Call of Duty WWII, Mario Odyssey, and more giant games scheduled to appear this Fall.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One (and likely their up-scale brethren).
Also, here are some new screenshots.
