During their Nindies streaming event on Tuesday, Nintendo revealed that Runner3, the next in the hit indie free-running series, is making its way to the console exclusively this Fall.
The game will bring branching paths to the series, allowing for more varieties of exploration and paths to take to finish the races. Also coming to the game will be new characters, retro challenges, and vehicles. We were massive fans of Runner 2, so the announcement of a sequel is well-timed.

Runner3 follows the continuing adventures of CommanderVideo and all his creepy friends. Their arch-rival, the Timbletot, is determined as ever to rid the multiverse of all its love and happiness. CommanderVideo, a lover if ever there were one, refuses to let this happen. There’s no firm date revealed yet, but expect Runner3 later this year.
