DuckTales is back! Well, almost. After a nice HD remake of the classic NES video game sparked fans to become interested in the TV series it was based on, it created a snowball that rolled through Disney and led up to a full-on reboot of the series.
The modern DuckTales cartoon will debut on Disney XD later this year, and feature the talents of Doctor Who’s David Tennant as the voice of Scrooge McDuck, as well as SNL’s Bobby Moynahan as Louie, one of the three nephews McDuck looks after.
With a new art style, modern animation and returning characters, DuckTales looks like a great return to animation-land. Check out the first trailer above.
