The Indie Mega Booth has been one of the best things about PAX East since its inception years ago. Designed as a way for several of the show’s indie games to get the visibility they deserved — the initial PAX East had a bit of an expansive, easy to miss layout — the IMB has grown in scale and importance, delivering some of the most unique and enjoyable gaming experiences of the past few years.
Well, it’s back. This year’s booth continues the trend of being divided into three areas: the MegaBooth proper, the Minibooth, and the TableTop area. There are over 90 games included, ranging from retro-infused 2D to gripping VR to card games, with some really passionate developers behind them.
