During its Switch Presentation 2017 tonight, Nintendo announced that the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be a launch title for the Switch console on Macrh 3, 2017. The hotly-anticipated title, which wowed audiences at E3 last year and won several Game of Show awards, brings Link to a new version of Hyrule. Our hero awakens 100 years in the future, in which the world has gone through an extensive apocalypse, civilization is minimal and darkness is lurking.
The game will also release on Wii U on the same day.
The massive game will also receive equally massive bundles for those looking to step outside of the $59 standard edition.
The Special Edition of the game will feature the game, map, soundtrack, collectible coin and Sheikh Slate carrying case for the console. It will retail for $99.
Meanwhile, the $129 Master Edition contains all of the above but also includes a replica Master Sword statue.
All three versions arrive on March 03, 2017 alongside the console.
