Here we go.
This game console generation seems to be an especially short one. Or, perhaps, it’s changing wildly from what it used to be. Less than 3 years after the launch of the PlayStation 4, Sony will be updating us on its “PlayStation business” at an event in New York City on September 7.
While no specific details are included in the invitation, the long and short of it will most likely deal with the rumored and then confirmed PlayStation Neo (or PS4k, or PS4.5, or whatever you want to call it). The unconfirmed device will give a boost to the PS4’s hardware, much like the Xbox One S does to the OG Xbox One, by including a better CPU and GPU, and the ability to use PSVR without a separate box.
We’ll know more in just a month, it seems.
What do you think? Will we hear about the PS Neo?
