Forza Horizon 3 and Gran Turismo Sport aren’t the only racing games coming this year. Codemasters is bringing back its F1 series for another lap around the track with the aptly named F1 2016.
And it looks pretty good!
The F1 series has always been about high speed and realism, but this latest edition finally brings us something that we’ve been asking for for years: a 10-season career mode. This will let fans play more than just exhibition and online games, as season modes in racing games are damn near crucial these days to keep players coming back regularly.
Also included are 22-player online races, Formation Laps (the pre-race tradition), and manual Virtual Safety Cars.
The latest trailer shows us more of the career mode as well as some of the detailed cars and livery we’ll see in the game.
F1 2016 launches in August for PS4 and Xbox One.
