It’s E3 time! And that means predictions, predictions, predictions! Team SideQuesting took some time during our latest podcast (LISTEN HERE) to make some incredibly bold predictions about what we may see at the big show this week. Have a look at our lists below, and LISTEN HERE for the full conversation!
This year, we had the team select three “probable” and one “crazy” prediction. Here they are, in all their (probably wrong) glory.
Tom Johnson (@thattomjohnson)
The probables:
- Full Windows 10/Xbox One integration will see almost every Xbox game launch day and date on PC as well
- Hideo Kojima will show up during Sony’s press conference, hang out for a bit, not really say or show anything and people will lose their shit
- Microsoft’s Xbox VR platform will be announced
The wild one:
- Sucker Punch will announce a Spider-man game in the vein of inFamous for Playstation 4
Robyn Miller (@arobynmiller)
The probables:
- Skyrim: Remastered will be announced for current gen consoles
- We’ll finally see something substantial for Mass Effect: Andromeda
- The Last Guardian will have a firm release date
The wild one:
- We will get a Mass Effect trilogy remaster that will arrive this year to tide us over until Mass Effect: Andromeda
Dali Dimovski (@dalidimovski)
The probables:
- Shadow of Mordor 2 will be announced
- We’ll get a new Viva PiƱata game for Xbox One
- 1vs100 was popular on Xbox 360, so we’ll get an announcement of a new social game experience for the Xbox One
The wild one:
- Capcom will FINALLY reveal a new Megaman game, and it’ll actually be Megaman and not a spin-off series
Sam Dixon (@samdi79)
The probables:
- Criterion’s action sports game will be re-revealed as a Star Wars game for EA
- CD Projekt Red will sneak out a Cyberpunk 2077 announcement
- Windows 10/Xbox One interaction & cross-play will be revealed
The wild one:
- We will get some kind of Zelda anniversary game for the Wii U this year
