Bethesda Softworks and Zenimax Media blew the lid off of their E3 2016 press event in a big way, with the surprise reveal of Quake Champions.
The popular multiplayer series is back with this latest entry, coming to PCs (no console announcement yet) at some point in the future. Running at a smoooooooth 120hz, the game will be built for players of all skill levels, and especially for eSports and competitive gaming.
The details are minimal at this point, but what is known is that the game will introduce “Champions,” characters with unique abilities, and carry the mythos of the original Quake with the multiplayer of Quake III Arena.
More information will be revealed at Quakecon later this year. But until then, the gory trailer above should keep you occupied.
