My source from SteelSeries sent me a blurb on the updated SteelSeries Siberia 350:
The Siberia 350 has DTS HEADPHONE:X 7.1 Surround Sound. Memory foam provides the additional benefit of an even better seal around the ears, offering greater noise isolation for an enriched audio experience. Never ALT-TAB out of the actions to fix your settings. With its on-cable volume controls and mute switch under the left earcup, the right settings are always in reach. It also has Prism RGB Illumination with 16.8 million color illumination options.
The double arch system has been redesigned to offer a better distribution of pressure points on the skull. It should also help that the headset is now lighter. The 350 will connected via USB to power the DAC as well as the RGB lighting system.
I had a pair of the SteelSeries Siberia 350 headsets before that I used it ALL the time until the elastic part of the headset started to fall apart. I’m not sure why it did — probably overuse during matches of WWE — but I always loved that design feature of the headset. It is really comfortable, but after using it for a long time — and I mean LONG time — it started to hurt a bit, which was a good indicator for me to take a break.
The newly updated SteelSeries Siberia 350 will set you back $119.99 and is currently on pre-order. No set date as to when it will be released, but hopefully we will learn when soon.
