Right now, the only place you can get Kanye West’s latest album, Life of Pablo, is through Tidal, the music streaming service run by Jay-Z. After creating an initial bump in the iOS App Store for the album, the service and app have started sliding back into place. We’re assuming Yeezus will eventually release LOP on other platforms and as a physical disc, but until then we’ll have to wait (or give Jay-Z money).
Almost predictably Kanye, less than a couple of weeks after the album’s release the artist has announced that he has yet another album set to be released this year. And it has a most interesting name.
My next album is titled “Turbo Grafx 16” as of now…

Yup, TurboGrafx 16 (or rather, PC Engine in Japan). A classic 8-Bit (nope, not true 16) console from the 80s. Why? Well, Kanye lists Blazing Lasers as one of his favorite games as a kid, and was feeling some super nerd vibes when he came up with the name.
Here’s hoping Ye skips Tidal and releases straight to game card. TurboGrafx 16 is due for release this Summer.
Oh, and here’s Blazing Lasers for ya.
