Rumored thanks to a leaked Battle.Net listing, Activision Blizzard officially revealed at Blizzcon 2015 that its upcoming team-based game Overwatch is coming to consoles.
Arriving Spring 2016, the game will make it to retail with two editions on consoles (three overall, including PC).
The vanilla Overwatch will come to just PC for $39.99.
The Overwatch Origins Edition includes 5 skins, 21 characters and a bunch of “digital goodies” for $60. These goodies include the Tracer character for Heroes of the Storm, a special Overwatch card back for Hearthstone, Mercy’s Wings for Diablo III, a pet for WoW, and player portraits for StarCraft II.
Want to get even more stuff? The event also revealed a $130 Collector’s Edition that comes with a source book, soundtrack, and statue.
The team noted how pleased they were with the reception that Reaper of Souls received on consoles as a factor in their decision to bring the game over.
